The day started wet and cloudy. What a bummer! My room mates and I headed out once again to the centre of the city. We walked and saw the diamond museum, which was really just an expensive jewellery store. We went to a concert hall and saw a beautiful piece played by the symphony for free! It was so lovely. Afterwards we stopped in a cafe for a bagel and a fresh mint tea for me! Walking we found a beautiful park that has apparently over 150 miles of paths.
Getting lost we slowly found our way back into the city where we explored some shops and went for some treats at a chocolate shop. Although it doesn't seem like we did a lot we were walking for hours. Coming back on the metro we talked about watching a movie. I was maybe going to meet up with some of my other friends from Brussels but I am so tired after my ordeal on the metro last night (my train didn't run after 8 but I didn't know this for 15 min and then I waited for the other train that would work but I actually needed to go to a different station to catch it....then I took the metro going in the wrong direction...needless to say it took an hour to get home). So three of us went to a movie and now I am back at the hostel. I ran into another girl from Brussels too!
Tomorrow I am going to check out some museums!
